Absinthe IPhone 4S And IPad 2 Jailbreak

A few minutes ago was the Untethered Jailbreak for iPhone and iPad 4S two published. The Chronic Dev Team has released the new jailbreak tool Absinthe for the public and allows a very simple jailbreak the devices listed above. The iPhone 4S is supported by the IOS IOS 5.0 or 5.0.1 of the jailbreak. The iPad 2 can be provided with a jailbreak only with the IOS version 5.0.1.

Currently, however, only the Mac version of the jailbreak tool Absinthe available. The Windows and Linux version but will be released shortly.

Supported devices:

• iPhone 4S with IOS 5.0 and 5.0.1 (9A405 / 9A406)
• iPad 2 with iOS 5.0.1

Absinthe iPhone 4S and iPad 2 Untethered jailbreak iOS 5.0.1[Guide]:

Step 1:
The iPhone 4S or wait for iPad 2 to connect to the Mac and is detected by the device. Then click on “Jailbreak” and sit back.

Step 2:
The whole process takes about 4 minutes and in time you should not use your device.

Step 3:
If the status bar is full, you will find the icon on the Absinthe IOS device. Tap this icon only and the jailbreak is completed. After restarting your device has been successfully fitted with a jailbreak, and it is Cydia on your device.

Important Note on Error Establishing a database connection:
If this message appears after you’ve typed on the Absinthe icon, you need the VPN connection in “Settings -> General -> Network -> VPN” checkbox. Then reopen the Absinthe icon.
