The Simpsons will soon land on the App Store through a game like  inviting you simply rebuild Springfield. We will be able to take advantage of the iOS game on all iDevices, whether you have the iPhone , the iPod Touch and the iPad.

Rebuilding Springfield , but why? Well it may surprise people but obviously the lack of this brave Homer . Our poor father will indeed cause the outright destruction of his city , so we’ll have to help fix his mistake and to rebuild. This is not very original, of course, and if the title will be offered free to all, he was nevertheless possible to buy additional content to move faster in history. As usual, therefore, ultimately it is therefore likely to cost us more if we had just bought the title.

In short, we do not know much yet, the release date has not even really been announced, but the title is already available in Canada and Singapore and it should not delay us. You can always watch the news while waiting for the App Store.

iOS 5.0.1  Unauthorized Access

A bug has been found in iOS 5.0.1 that is allowing unauthorized access to users contacts and call history.  The bug is making phone calls, or using Facetime on devices that have  password. all it takes to stop it is to remove the SIM Card or have no service on your iPhone.

This manipulation, which is quite difficult to reproduce, requires phone call to leave a notice on the home screen, then try to unlock the iPhone when searching for a network. The video below demonstrate how it works.Not sure if the issue will be fix with the upcoming iOS 5.1 which is  supposed to be released to the public soon.

 Employee Stole $16,000 Worth iPhones

Charlotte observer reported that 25 iPhones valued more than 16,000 have been stolen from the Northtake Mall App Store Retail in charlotte, North Carolina. Apparently, the smartphones disapeared one after another over time.

“The iPhones were stolen from the Genius Room located inside of the store,” a Charlotte-Mecklenburg police report says. “The suspect did have access to the Genius Room.”

The stolen phones, which are valued at $16,425, include 22 16-gigabyte iPhone 4S models, one 64-GB 4S model, one eight-GB iPhone 4 model and one 32-GB 4S model.

According to a police report, the person had access to a storage room at the store and stole the phones over a period of a month and a half, between December 1st and January 11th.

KakaoTalk Messenger jailbreak vulnerabilities  

Stefan Esser (aka i0n1c) tweeted recently about a possible vulnerability exploit that might be found in the KakaoTalk Messenger version 2.8.8 application in the App Store. The vulnerability could potentially be used as a first engaging (an injection vector) for an untethered jailbreak of iOS 5.1. It is therefore recommended to version 2.8.8 of the free KakaoTalk Messenger download and locally store, so the software at a later time through iTunes is replaced by a later version.

I recommend everybody downloads KakaoTalk Messenger version 2.8.8 now, before Apple removes it from the AppStore. Just saying…
