Save the ECID 4.0 Certificate in with TinyUmbrella
Apple has released the first beta of iPhone OS 4.1 and 4.0.1 iOS then it is best to save your ECID in 4.0 Saurik on servers, in case you want to downgrade your device in the future. To do this, simply use the software umbrella available for Mac OS X, Windows and Linux. The utility works with the following devices: iPhone 3G, iPod Touch 3G, iPhone 4.
Download and Requirements:
Your iPhone or iPod Touch must be equipped with the 4.0 Firmware
Download the version of Umbrella that matches your device: Windows – Mac OS X – Linux
The procedure is the same on all operating systems
1. Run the software. (In Windows, a window will ask surely allow access), and connect your camera to the computer. (ITunes must be closed).
2. Click “Start Server TSS”
3. Click on “Save My SHSH.
4. It’s over, thanks to the TSS server launched earlier, your SHSH was posted on servers Saurik.
