Updated Apple TV: iPhone OS as the operating system?
It seems that Apple has not completely discarded his favorite hobby, the Apple TV. According to Engadget who hold that sources close to Apple engineers in Cupertino have decided to transform the “flop” Apple TV without an iPhone screen. Indeed, it appears that the device becomes compact as possible, thus reducing its storage capacity to 16GB The connection would also be reduced to its minimum, namely, food and video output. Thus, Apple would capitalize on the streaming for its future Apple TV while being able to handle 1080p. If necessary, a Time Capsule could complement the device. Finally, two sizes of innovations: first, goodbye and hello Mac OS iPhone OS 4, and keep the more surprising to the end, the Apple TV would be available for only $ 99! The project is not currently advanced enough, Steve Jobs should not be discussed at the WWDC 2010 in June.
